Phillip P. Balcastro, 58, of Shelton, retired road construction supervisor, husband of Barbara Jean (Traver) Balcastro, died Nov. 2, at The Connecticut Hospice, Branford.
Born on Oct. 15, 1958 in Bridgeport, son of the late Isadore Balcastro and Theresa (Denton) Balcastro; U.S. Army veteran.
Besides his wife, survivors include three children, Yvonne Negron and her husband, Jerry, Vincienzo Balcastro and his wife, Annie and Jacquelyn Balcastro; four grandchildren, his sisters, Albertina Becker (and the late Joseph Becker), Phyllis Cooper and her husband, Patrick, Carly Balcastro and Amber Balcastro, brother, Isadore Balcastro and his wife, Carmen, four godchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
