Joseph Alfred Duguay, 66, of Shelton, formerly of Milford, corrections officer for the State of Connecticut, commander of the honor guard for the State of CT Department of Corrections, husband of Valerie Bielski Duguay, died June 25, in Yale New Haven Hospital.
Born and raised in Bridgeport to the late Joseph W. and Mary (Andrews) Duguay; U.S. Marines.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Joseph Duguay and his wife, Donna of Milford, and Denise Butt and her husband, Eric of Orange, four grandchildren, sisters, Yvonne Schwartz and her husband, Gary of Stratford and Alice Mizia of Trumbull, several nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by a sister, Annette Babin and his dog, Corbett.
