Marie Campanella Alimena, 87, of Fairfield, wife of the late James J. Alimena, died June 3, surrounded by her family.
Born in West New York, N.J. March 22, 1929, daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary Vecere Campanella.
Survivors include her children, James B. Alimena and his wife, Clarissa of Shelton, Christine Robinson of Merrimack, N.H., Lisa Nyden and her husband, Matthew of Monroe, and Michelle Varrone and her husband, Andrew of Trumbull, seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a brother, Philip Campanella, a sister, Rose Bennett and a son-in-law, Gary Robinson.
Services: Tuesday, June 7, 8 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9 a.m., in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours: Monday, 4-8 p.m.
