Philip W. Evans Sr., 88, of Shelton, laboratory technician at Raybestos, husband of the late Valentina (Antonovich) Evans, died May 11, at Hewitt Memorial Hospital.
Born in New Haven, on Feb. 26, 1928, son of the late Lawrence and Jennie (Worcester) Evans; U.S. Air Force, World War II.
Survived by children, Philip W. Evans Jr. and his wife, Sophie, Bruce Evans and his wife, Jane and Mark Evans and his wife, Carlotta and Karen Hoyt and her husband, Gary, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial: Riverside Cemetery.
