Linda Susan Dempsey, of Stratford, worked in the faculty services department at Norwalk Community College, died Jan. 26, at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus after a long illness.
Born Oct. 3, 1950, in New Haven, daughter of the late William T. Carpenter.
Survived by two sons, David M. Dempsey Jr. and Greg S. Dempsey and his fiancé, Kellie, two sisters, Stacie (Robert) Cavallaro of Ansonia, and Kathleen Falandys of Fairfield, two brothers, Gerard (Diane) Carpenter of Shelton and William Carpenter of Florida, a cousin, and several nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Frank Falandys.
