George Stephen Gnall, 86, of Shelton, sheet metal mechanic for the former AVCO Lycoming Co., husband of Eva Plaskon Gnall, died Jan. 3, Shady Knoll Heath Care Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1929, in Taylor, Pa., son of the late John and Mary Roman Gnall; U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Gail L. Briggs and her husband, Mark of Maryland, George J. Gnall of Terryville, and Patricia A. Herwig and her husband, Gary of Maryland; and a grandson.
Services: Friday, Jan. 8, 9 a.m., Three Saints Orthodox Church, 26 Howard Avenue, Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Visiting hours: Friday, 8-9 a.m., Three Saints Church.
