Carolyn Donna Skene (Preedom), 79, of Shelton, instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studios, had a career in recreation and art therapy, wife of the late Richard Skene, died Dec. 4, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Born April 17, 1936, in Rutland, Vt., to Donald Preedom and Dorothy Nourse.
Also predeceased by her sons, Kevin and David, and sister, Beatrice Broniewski.
Survived by her children, Brian Skene and partner Maria, Debra Reale and husband Mark, Susan Thees and husband Paul, Laurie Grosso and husband John, and Craig Skene and wife Christy; six grandchildren, and her in-laws.
Visiting hours: Thursday, Dec. 10, 3-6 p.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Services: Thursday, 6 p.m., funeral home, with a later burial at the family’s convenience.
