Nicholas Anthony Yanosy, a teacher at Harding High School in Bridgeport, died recently at his home at Benchmark at Split Rock in Shelton.
Born Jan. 16, 1947, in Bridgeport to Nicholas and Jeanette Yanosy.
Survived by his wife, Cheryl Yanosy; his children, Sarah and Anita Sreedhar, Matthew and Carolina Yanosy; three grandchildren; his sister, Susan Ohanesian and her husband, George; brothers- and sisters-in-law, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visiting hours: Wednesday, Oct. 28, 4-7 p.m., Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. Life celebration: Thursday, Oct. 29, 11 a.m., First Congregational Church of Stratford, 2301 Main Street.
