Orazio J. “Russ” Tirella, 85, of Shelton, retired from Sikorsky Aircraft, died June 6, 2015 in Masonicare, Wallingford.
Born in New York, N.Y.; Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army.
Predeceased by parents, John and Grace (Roccaro) Tirella and two sisters.
Survived by wife, Luba Stasiuk Tirella, two sons, five grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Wednesday, June 10, 9:15 a.m., Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, and at 10 a.m. in Sts. Cyril and Methodious Church, Bridgeport. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, N.Y. Visiting hours: Tuesday, 4-7.
