Shirley Madden, registered nurse, wife of the late Bob Madden, died Aug. 22.
Born Feb. 11, 1927, to the late Margaret Lucy Knell and Stratford Police Officer Frederick John Knell; U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp, World War II.
Survived by sons, Christopher and Michael, daughters-in-law, Nancy and Regis, grandchildren and their spouses, Kerry, Erin (Matt Morano), and Robert III (Allie Croze), and great-grandchildren Jake, Kyle, Andrew, Ryan, Michael, Emma and Jack.
Also predeceased by son, Bob Jr.
Services: Saturday, Aug. 26, 9 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m., in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford. Calling hours: Friday, 4-8 p.m.
